Unless you live under a rock with no access to the internet since last night, you perhaps are just finding out that Kentucky native Chris Stapleton made a huge impact on the CMA Awards. Not only did he win New Artist of the Year, but he took home the honors for Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Chris Stapleton’s performance with Justin Timberlake also blew through the social media airwaves with excitement.
Just a couple of years ago, Chris Stapleton performed at the World Chicken Festival in London, Kentucky.
And he was interviewed by my good pal, Kip Jervis:
Needless to say, we are proud of our fellow Kentuckian, Chris Stapleton. Now let us hope that the record label doesn’t sit and wait on his next album. This is the very music that folks are wanting to hear!
