“US Weekly” magazine has announced that Kentucky native, Wynonna Judd, has tied the knot. On June 10th, Wynonna married drummer Cactus Moser in a private ceremony. The pair was recently engaged on Christmas Eve of 2011 and had been dating since 2009.
The sunset ceremony was on her farm in Leipers Fork, Tenn. Wynonna wore a Houri Barahimi dress while Cactus wore a tuxedo, vest, pocket watch, and holster.
Judd told “US Weekly,” “I felt a joy that hasn’t been there before.”
Those in attendance included her children from previous marriages, Grace and Elijah. However, her mother and sister, Naomi and Ashley, were not in attendance.
Photos and more stories of the wedding will appear in “US Weekly” magazine this Friday.
Wynonna Judd was first part of the duo, The Judds, with her mother Naomi. She has sold more than 10 million solo albums with hits including “No One Else on Earth” and “I Saw the Light.” Her husband, Cactus, was part of the country music group, Highway 101.
These days, Cactus plays drums as part of The Big Noise, a band backing up Wynonna on her current tour. The tour will be stopping in Wynonna’s hometown of Ashland, Ky, on Aug. 11.
