Gracey Holler Music to release album featuring Lyon County songs

Gracey Holler Music has released the first single from the label’s upcoming album, Songs from Lyon County with an emotional rendering of “When I Leave Kentucky.”  Featuring guest vocalists IBMA award-winner Bradley Walker and rising star Holly Pitney, the single is available for purchase on CD Baby.  The single was produced by Dennis Duff and Cody Kilby (who also plays guitar and mandolin), and features Andy Leftwich on fiddle, plus Alan Bartram on bass. Kentucky musicians recognized in Nashville Scene Critics Poll

Nashville Scene’s 18th Annual Critics Poll results were just released this morning with several surprises from Kentucky.  Chris Stapleton, Angaleena Presley, Tyler Childers, and Carly Pearce received recognition from 94 music critics. Chris Stapleton led the pack with multiple recognitions. His albums “From A Room Volumes 1 & 2″ were combined to be part of the top albums of the year.
