Kelsie May to be recognized on US-23 Country Music Highway

Kelsie May will soon have her own section along the US-23 Country Music Highway in Kentucky.

Kentucky State Representative Jill York is set to dedicate a section of the US-23 Country Music Highway on Friday to The Voice (Season 8 / Team Blake) contestant Kelsie May.  Kelsie is a native of the eastern Kentucky, and has been building a steady following over the past four years since her national television debut on NBC.

“Kelsie is an incredibly gifted artist with an equally beautiful spirit. She’s learned from some of the greatest artists in the world and incorporated a piece of each one into her own unique sound and style. The combination is stunning,” says Bernard Porter, President and Founder of PCG Nashville. “We feel very privileged to work with her and help hone her God given talent. Kelsie is that rare artist who has a magic combination of presence, voice, song, and character.”

Kelsie recently signed with Blue Sapphire Music, distributed through Sony RED/The Orchard, and recently released her latest single “Driving” July 6th.

The unveiling of the US-23 Country Music Highway sign and the dedication of a portion of the Country Music Highway in Kelsie’s honor will occur at 11:30am ET at the intersection of US-23 and County Road 3 just East of downtown Louisa, Ky at 50 Falls Creek Dr, Louisa, Ky 41230. (Landmarks: Exxon, Baskin-Robbins, Taco Bell). Representative York will also be joined by other state, county and city officials who will give comments to the public before May performs & accepts her recognition.
